Special Holiday Shows Children friendly shows * KUNGSHOLM FLASHBACK PERFORMANCE* By popular demand, we are pleased to present Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece, “Madama Butterfly”, once again in a lightly abridged format. 2013 marks the 72nd anniversary of the opening of Chicago’s beloved Kungsholm Miniature Grand Opera. Join us in celebrating this milestone in the history of our craft with the puppets who keep the Kungsholm tradition alive. *OPERATIC PREMIERE* Opera In Focus is thrilled to announce the premiere of LA TRAVIATA by VERDI Act II, Sc. 2 coming August 14th through September 7th along with several other Operatic Premieres throughout the 2013 season. **SATURDAY EVENINGS AT THE PUPPET OPERA** During the month of November, take a trip down memory lane at the Puppet Opera as we present a special tribute to America’s “Singing Sweethearts”, Jeanette MacDonald & Nelson Eddy.
